Barbara Ross
Barbara Ross is the author of the Maine Clambake Mystery series: Clammed Up, Boiled Over, Musseled Out, Fogged Inn and Iced Under. Barbara's books have been nominated for multiple Agatha Awards for Best Contemporary Novel and RT Books Reviewer's Choice Awards, as well as the the Maine Literary Award for Crime Fiction. Her holiday novella featuring amateur sleuth Julia Snowden was published along with novellas by Leslie Meier and Lee Hollis in Eggnog Murder from Kensington Books in October 2016.

Paul Doiron
Paul Doiron is the prize-winning author of the Mike Bowditch series of crime novels featuring a young Maine game warden. He served for eight years as Editor in Chief of Down East: The Magazine of Maine. A native of Maine, he attended Yale University; he also holds an MFA in creative writing from Emerson College. He is a former member of the Maine Arts Commission and a current member of the Maine Humanities Council. He is also a Registered Maine Guide specializing in fly fishing and lives on a trout stream in coastal Maine.

Sarah Sherman McGrail
Sarah Sherman McGrail is a seventh-generation Southport Island native. She attended the island's three-room school house and after high school earned degrees in Graphic Arts, English, and Master's Degree in Criminal Justice from Boston University. In 1996, Sarah founded her own publishing house, Cozy Harbor Press, Inc., and has since self-published eight books - Southport: The War Years; Heroes Among Us; The Littlest Tugboat; Harbor Journal, Volumes I & II; And The Beat Goes On (Original Tuskegee Airman, LeRoy Battle's memoir), and her latest historical work, Looking Back, A History of Boothbay Region's Veterans during the Korean and Vietnam Wars, Volumes I & II.

Maria Padian
Young adult novelist Maria Padian lives and writes from her home in midcoast Maine. Before devoting herself full-time to fiction she worked as a news reporter, congressional aide, radio essayist and freelance writer. A graduate of Middlebury College and the University of Virginia, Maria also attended Oxford University and the Bread Loaf Writers Conference. These days, she takes breaks from the computer by playing with her Australian Shepherd, texting her grown children, taking long walks along the beach or feeding logs into the woodstove. Her award-winning books for young people include "Wrecked" (Algonquin, 2016); "Out of Nowhere" (Knopf, 2013); "Jersey Tomatoes Are the Best" (Knopf, 2011); and "Brett McCarthy: Work in Progress." (Knopf, 2008).

Charlene D'Avanzo
Marine ecologist and award-winning environmental educator Charlene D'Avanzo studied the New England coast for over thirty years. Her Mara Tusconi Maine Oceanography Mystery series takes readers to stunning beauty of seawaters in Maine and elsewhere and the grave threats facing them. An avid sea kayaker, D'Avanzo lives in Yarmouth, Maine.

Robert Atkinson
Robert Atkinson, Ph.D., an internationally recognized authority in life story interviewing, personal mythmaking, and soul-making, is professor emeritus at the University of Southern Maine, and director of Story Commons. His nine books include The Story of Our Time: From Duality to Interconnectedness to Oneness, called "a must-read by the widest of global audiences" by Michael Bernard Beckwith, and Mystic Journey: Getting to the Heart of Your Soul's Story, called "an exquisite exploration of the spiritual craft of soul-making" by Jean Houston.

Michael Dekker
Growing up and residing in mid-coast Maine, Mike Dekker has developed a life long interest in the region's past. An avid student of 17th and 18th century American history and material culture, he presents educational programs for local and state historical societies, state historic sites, museums, schools and the public. Mike is currently working on two new books about Maine's colonial history. In his upcoming works Mike plans to explore the history of the region's 17th century fisheries as well as the story of land claims and failed aspirations along the mid coast from the native people of the early 17th century to Henry Knox.

Mary Lawrence
Mary Lawrence moved to Maine after completing a degree in cytotechnology from Indiana University. She spent over 25 years working in the medical field before publishing her first book, The Alchemist's Daughter. The Bianca Goddard Mysteries are set in the slums of Tudor London and feature the daughter of an infamous alchemist who uses a smattering of alchemy to solve murders. Mary has written for the national news blog, The Daily Beast, and continues to write mysteries on her farm in Limington.
